Hi, I'm Yurina!

Hi, I’m Yurina! I was born and raised in Tokyo, and in 2025, I started this cooking class.

I’ve loved cooking for as long as I can remember. I often invited friends over and enjoyed preparing meals for them—it made me so happy to see their smiles and hear that they enjoyed what I made.

I’ve also been fortunate to travel to many countries, and one of the things I’ve always looked forward to the most is the food. Some of my favorite travel memories come not just from tasting local dishes, but from chatting with the chef, the staff, or someone sitting next to me at a restaurant or food stall. Those small, friendly conversations over food always stay with me and make the experience even more special.

Years ago, while traveling Seoul, I joined a cooking class held in the home of a local mom. She welcomed us into her kitchen, where we cooked and talked together. That experience was unlike any other trip I’d taken. It felt personal, warm, and gave me a deeper understanding of the local culture through food.

That memory stayed with me, and I would like to offer something similar here in Japan. Through this cooking class, I hope to help you feel closer to Japanese food and culture in a simple, fun, and approachable way. I’m looking forward to cooking with you!
